Process-Efficient Technology (PET)
is a new approach that helps address critical questions that enterprises should ask while envisioning an IT project -- before they actually invest.

PET is a systematic and holistic approach to unify the streamlining of various elements in an IT-enabled business process. Elements include all or critical processes, people, IT applications, and user interfaces (UI). Benefits delivered include process-IT alignment and measurable new levels of process efficiency besides the creation of a blue print for an envisioned software project.

Critical every time an enterprise envisions a new IT investment, PET also helps leverage similar business value from existing assets.

As an intrinsic part of nearly every modern business process, IT has consumed colossal amounts of money since it came into business in 1951. With some enterprises spending as much as $1 Billion and more annually, research firms forecast that worldwide IT spending will reach $1.3 trillion in 2008.
